BRUCE WILLIS is in typically rip-roaring form in The Fifth Element (10pm Sky Premier, right), a gripping sci-fi thriller directed by Jean Luc Besson. Willis plays a former soldier and taxi driver in 23rd-century New York who is called upon to help the Fifth Element, an exotic being played by Milla Jovovich. Linking earth, wind, fire and water, she alone can save the Earth from destruction. Gary Oldman plays the face of evil, while Ian Holm and Lee Evans offer Willis good support.

Even in the days before rugby league, there was no such thing as a friendly in Gloucester vs Bath (1.30pm Sky Sports 2) matches. Bath have not been their usual consistent selves of late, and the fact that Gloucester and their ferocious supporters are always a tough prospect at home will not help Bath's chances.
