Star Grazing

A host of stars gathers in Deauville, France this week for the 20th Festival of American Cinema. Among those present will be Nicolas Cage, Danny DeVito and Tom Hanks to 12 Sept; former Queen star Roger Taylor will be appearing to promote his new album Happiness?, HMV, 150 Oxford St, London W1, 1.30pm today; 1970's doyennes The Three Degrees are in town for their engagement at The Green Room, Cafe Royal, Regent St, W1 to 24 Sept; Legendary Erica Jong has just reached her half century and is in London this week for the publication of her new book Fear of Fifty. She will be reading from it at Waterstone's in Harrods, SW1 12.30pm and at The Almeida, N1 6pm tomorrow; Artist Glen Baxter talks about the world of boys and girls annuals of the 1930s-1950s as part of the Carry on Collecting exhibition at the Museum of London, EC2 6.30pm, 14 Sept
