In the latest complaints bulletin from the Broadcasting Standards Council, the BBC defends a complaint about gratuitous violence in Eldorado. The BBC says Eldorado aimed to portray a broad cross-section of life in an expatriate community. At least we now know what it's supposed to be about.

The latest Independent Television Commission report cites 301 complaints. A further 689 letters and a 300-signature petition voiced concern over scheduling changes for Highway.
