The last recorded showing of Family Fortunes had an audience of 13.52m, making it television's most-watched non-soap of the week. The previous week, the most-watched non-soap was Strike It Lucky with an audience of 14.91m. Game shows are obviously in. The BBC doesn't seem to have quite such a successful formula: most successful is Generation Game (10.75m) followed by Big Break (7.92m). ITV's new show, Dame Edna's Neighbourhood Watch, has a regular audience of 8.9m.
