The Last Yankee (Duke of York's, 071-836 5122, to 4 Sept). Miller's resonant study of clinical depression, with Helen Burns in award-winning form.

An Inspector Calls (Olivier, 071-928 2252, in rep to 14 Aug). Stephen Daldry transforms J B Priestley's old repertory favourite into an Expressionist masterpiece.
