Comic-Con: 'Harry Potter' cast, 'Glee,' plus much more

The schedule for Comic-Con's days 2-4, July 23-25, was released over the weekend with more star-packed panels for the fantasy, comics and sci-fi fan fest. Friday showcases some impressive events, but Saturday offers a Hollywood blow-out, and Sunday focuses on "Kid's Day" with teen and family movies and television.

FRIDAY

At 2 pm, the spotlight is on Stan Lee, the comics legend and founder of Marvel who discusses his latest projects, the future of comics and new media.

"Peanuts Turns 60" celebrates the comic strip of Snoopy and Charlie Brown appearing in over 2,200 newspapers, 75 countries and 21 languages, with television specials and merchandise. Wife of the late creator Charles Schultz is the panel guest.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark from producer/co-writer Guillermo del Toro who previews this horror movie starring Guy Pearce and Katie Holmes.

Terra Nova, Steven Spielberg's newest television show, follows a family on a journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a part of a expedition to save the human race.

The Other Guys comedy stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg as New York City cops, who will participate in the panel and present a sneak peak.

The Green Hornet in 3D panel includes stars Seth Rogen, Christoph Waltz and director Michel Gondry, who unveil the film about a guy who poses as a criminal to fight crime.

Emmy nominee and Oscar and Golden Globe winner Anna Paquin ( The Piano) and Stephen Moyer discuss HBO vampire series True Blood.

"Star Wars Day": several panels present a ‘Star Wars' agenda such as a Trivia Game Show.

SATURDAY

A Harry Potter session with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint who make their debut appearance at Comic-Con with the Deathy Hallows finale presentation.

Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds ( The Proposal), kicks off presentations with a debut look at the upcoming film about this superhero.

Marvel Studios introduces Thor and Captain America to the audience, and possibly Avengers with Robert Downey, Jr. The Hulk will not be portrayed by Edward Norton, so perhaps an announcement of his replacement will happen on stage.

The Cowboys & Aliens presentation might bring the iconic stars of the film, Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford, together with Jon Favreau.

Other films in the schedule include: Sucker Punch with Zac Snyder and Jon Hamm, Let Me In, starring Chloe Moretz ( Kick-Ass) in cult favorite vampire story, and Resident Evil: Afterlife starring Milla Jovovich in the fourth installment of the videogame movie.

X-Men: First Class and the introduction of Andrew Garfield as the new Spider-Man are possibilities. The evening includes director Kevin Smith ( Clerks, Cop Out) in a Q&A.

SUNDAY

Nickelodeon and Disney Channel panels are included in this day's program as well as BBC's Merlin, other television series, notably the hit show and Emmy nominee Glee.

At 1:30 pm the Glee presentation includes the creators and cast members giving a sneak peak at season 2, providing behind-the-scenes secrets, and taking questions.

At 4 pm "Buffy the Musical," a sing-along screening of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode "Once More With Feeling" serves as the conference‘s closing event.
