Love Island Australia is officially coming to the UK, a mere two weeks after Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer were crowned winners of the British version of the show.

Fans of the reality series will be able to feast their eyes on a new lineup of contestants, some of which have been making headlines for their explosive interactions.

In June, a video of two of the male contestants aggressively brawling went viral on social media, with many Twitter users expressing their preference for the Australian edition of the show.

“Unpopular opinion but Love Island Australia is better than the UK one,” one person admitted on Twitter.

Another person described the drama-filled show as “juicy”.

While the Aussie version of the show began airing prior to the British version this year, it hasn’t been available to watch in the UK, with Brits resorting to catching up on all the gossip on social media.

However, from next week they’ll be able to keep up to date with the goings-on of the villa from the very first episode.

Love Island Australia has only had one season so far, which began on May 27 this year and ended on July 5 on Australian TV channel 9Go!.

On Monday August 13, the show will begin airing on ITVBe and on catch-up on ITV Hub in the UK.

The programme is produced by ITV Studios Australia and presented by Sophie Monk, an Australian singer, actress and radio personality.

Many people have been expressing their excitement over the news on social media.

“If you think I’m gonna watch Love Island Australia after six weeks of watching our Love Island then you’d be dead right. Can’t wait,” one person tweeted.

“Actually can’t wait for Love Island Australia,” another Twitter user wrote. “Looks sooo much better than the UK’s.”

Earlier this week, Love Island winner Jack Fincham was interviewed on Good Morning Britain about the body insecurities that he experienced while appearing on the show.
