Celebrity Big Brother 2017 line-up confirmed: Game of Thrones, Strictly Come Dancing and Loose Women stars enter the house

Featuring Coleen Nolan, James Jordan and former Thrones actor James Cosmo

The formula of this year's Celebrity Big Brother has been shaken up following the start of the latest series which features "all-star" housemates alongside new.

Last night's launch show saw the flamboyant arrival of several contestants, half of whom have already taken part in the series following its move to Channel 5.

The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag - a married couple collectively known as "Speidi" - re-entered the house as did former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan and model Austin Armacost.

Rounding out the all-stars were Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan, glamour model Nicola McLean, Calum Best and actor Jasmine Waltz.

After meeting with host Emma Willis, each housemate were set a task which saw them become 'producers' of the show. They were instructed to enter a side-door and watch the new housemates arriving with the intention of ultimately deeming one the least entertaining - that unlucky housemate would then be 'edited out' of the series.

So, who were the new stars? There was music star and Snoop Dogg's cousin Ray-J, Bianca Gascoigne - daughter of footballer Paul - Trainspotting and Game of Thrones actor James Cosmo (he played Lord Commander Mormont) and X Factor USA finalist Stacy Francis who hit the headlines after it was revealed she argued with Whitney Houston days before the singer's death.

DJ Brandon Block, best known for his shenanigans at the BRIT Awards, and former Tottenham Hotspurs player Jamie O'Hara also entered the house.

The biggest surprise of the night, however, was reserved for George Best's son Calum whose own mother Angie entered the house.

Ultimately, the 'all stars' named Francis as the 'least entertaining' housemate meaning she'll be edited out of the series at their behest.

Last year's Celebrity series was the most-complained about show of 2016 due to controversial comments uttered by British TV personality Christopher Biggins.

The line-up for Channel 4's dangerous reality series The Jump has also been announced featuring a mix of Olympians, retired sportsmen and reality TV stars.
