There’s no such thing as a loser in the star-studded world of television.

Actors and actresses who didn’t pick up a gong at the 66th annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles went away with a different kind of prize – a $50,000 goodie bag.

As is it wasn’t enough to attend the glitzy ceremony, nominees and presenters were treated to treasures including a holiday to Bali, gym membership and a frozen cocktail lolly, according to CNNMoney

The $10,000 trip to the Mulia Resort in Bali includes a spa treatment and luxury meal, just in case all that dressing up ad being photographed was overly stressful.

And for those celebrities who thought they didn’t quite look their best, a six-month stint at David Baron Gym, worth $7,000, is sure to have them fit and toned in no time.

For those less worried about their figure, LIQRpop – a frozen lolly with alcohol inside – is the perfect sweet treat, while a food-tasting party with 10 to 15 close friends and family might be just the ticket for television stars either wanting to celebrate or make a toast to better luck next time.

Those who did go home with a prize included Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman (albeit in absentia), The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons and Veep’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

US television series Breaking Bad was the biggest winner of the night with five awards overall.
