A brand new web series related to AMC's Fear the Walking Dead has debuted a week ahead of the hugely-awaited return of main series The Walking Deadwhich begins this weekend.
The new 50-second episode is the first of 16 parts that will be eked out across the next four months - right up until the spring premiere of spin-off Fear the Walking Dead's third season.
Titled Passage, the series follows 'a fearsome survivor [who] agrees to help an injured woman in exchange for an apocalyptic sanctuary.'
This isn't the first web series that's been created by The Walking Dead team; Flight 432 was released ahead of Fear season 2 and it followed a doomed airliner whose crash is witnessed in the companion series.

The Walking Dead was renewed for an eighth season yesterday (17 October) with its seventh set to bow in the US on Sunday (23 October); its UK premiere will arrive the following evening at 9pm on FOX when fans will finally discover which character was killed at the hands of new antagonist (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
