Everyone’s favourite US sitcom is coming to terrestrial TV later this month, for a limited time only.

Ten episodes of Friends will be shown on Channel 5 for five hours on Sunday 13 September between 12pm and 5pm to mark the show’s 21st birthday.

Joey, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe and Ross have found a home on Comedy Central in recent years after Channel 4 ceased broadcasting the popular sitcom in 2010 after 15 years.

Comedy Central will also mark the show’s 21st anniversary with a Friends festival in London’s East End, which will see The Boiler House in Brick Lane transformed into a full scale set of Monica’s apartment.

The orange sofa will be on show at Comedy Central's FriendsFest

An exhibition will show some of the series’ most famous props, including replicas of the orange sofa and Joey’s Lay-Z Boy recliner for photo opportunities.

Friends fans can watch every single episode of the Nineties sitcom on Comedy Central’s Friendsfest: The One with Every Episode, which airs weekdays from 5pm.
