After a riveting seventh season, there’s been a surprising lack of news concerning Game of Thrones’ eighth season.

However, thanks to some Thrones obsessed blogs, we have new information regarding the upcoming episodes that’s hugely tantalising.

** SPOILER WARNING ** We’re very much moving into spoiler territory here. For those looking to avoid information about the upcoming season, turn away now.

Still here? Well, the ever-trustworthy Game of Thrones blog Watchers on the Wall has uncovered some huge information about where the final moments of the HBO series could be heading.

First off, a few weeks ago a mysterious new set appeared which many believed to be the Red Keep a large structure located within King's Landing that overlooks Blackwater Bay. The publication now understands the huge construction to represent the streets of the capitol.

Why build these streets rather than film an actual Medieval town? Because the showrunners are reportedly going to burn down the whole structure which likely means we’ll be seeing King’s Landing being burnt down by dragons next season.

Whether those dragons belong to Daenerys or the Night King remains to be seen. Whatever the case, we’re bracing ourselves for a hugely exciting finale.

Meanwhile, a recent casting announcement debunked a fan theory concerning Daario Naharis and The Golden Company.
