If you can't book the Easter Bunny, it looks like Jeremy Kyle is the next best thing.

According to ITV, at least, who have roped in the controversial presenter as a stand-in for Piers Morgan on ITV's Good Morning Britain over the Easter holidays. Both Morgan and co-host Susanna Reid will be away for the Easter break, so Kyle will also be joined as co-presenter by Kate Garraway.

Kyle is set to present from 28 March to 30 March, and then 4 April to 5 April; the remaining days will be covered by Garraway and Ben Shephard.

"GMB is a fantastic show and I’m really looking forward to stepping into Piers Morgan’s shoes, and even on his toes, over the Easter holidays," Kyle said in a statement (via The Guardian). "Along with Kate Garraway, I’ll be helping to wake the nation up and give them the breaking news and entertainment stories of the day over breakfast."

ITV news presenter Mark Austin, alongside co-anchor Ranvir Singh, will then cover the show for three days from 6 April to 8 April. "I’m looking forward to joining the GMB team and to the early alarm calls," Austin stated. "And also happy to be giving the other presenters a temporary rest from Piers Morgan!"
