Queen of the Stone Age's Josh Homme appears to kick female photographer in the face

CBeebies will not broadcast two pre-recorded episodes of Josh Homme reading Bedtime Stories after footage emerged of him kicking a female photographer in the head.

A spokesperson for the BBC channel said programmes featuring the Queens of the Stone Age frontman would not be shown "until the matter is resolved".

Homme recorded three Bedtime Stories episodes, one of which has aired.

Over the weekend he was filmed kicking the camera of photographer Chelsea Lauren, which then hit her in the face. Lauren said she spent the night in ER due to her injuries.

"I saw him coming over and I was shooting away," she told Variety. "He looked straight at me, swung his leg back pretty hard and full-blown kicked me in the face."

In the interview, she added that she intended to file a police report about the incident.

Homme issued two apologies - one where he said he had been "lost in performance" and did not realise he had kicked a photographer. In the following video apology he said he had no excuse and called himself a "total d**k".

"We won't broadcast any new material or re-broadcast his previous story," a spokesperson for CBeebies told The Telegraph.
