Greg James might have admitted that he was scared of his Team John Bishop opponent England cricketer Freddie Flintoff previously.

But it was Flintoff that crossed the line during the Clash Of The Titans men's elimination cycling race for Sports Relief covered in blood after he crashed from the saddle.

But the cricketer still managed to cross the line first, winning six points for his team after narrowly beating Olly Murs.

First knocked out of the race were John Bishop and Richard Bacon, after some poor tactical decisions.

Team captains Sebastian Coe and John Bishop are going head-to-head in a series of tasks at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Olympic boxing gold medallist Nicola Adams, former cricketer Freddie Flintoff, BBC Radio 1 DJ Grimshaw, comedian Patrick Kielty and TV presenter Helen Skelton joined Team Bishop.

Murs, Radio 1's Greg James, actress Sally Phillips and Winter Olympic skeleton gold medallist Amy Williams teamed up with Coe.

The teams faced off in five different sports - track cycling (men's elimination race and women's time trial), team rhythmic gymnastics, synchronised swimming and a swimming relay.

Clare Balding hosted the event at the London Aquatics Centre, Gabby Logan presented the events at the Lee Valley VeloPark.
