Following tonight’s broadcast, Channel 4 will finally have their Paul Hollywood baked cake, the broadcaster having acquired the Love Productions show from the BBC earlier this year. Mel Giedroyc, Sue Perkins, and Mary Berry won’t be going with them.
That’s the distant future of Bake Off, though. For tonight marks the conclusion of another fantastic series, revealing 2016’s overall champion. So, who will be following in Nadiya Hussain’s footsteps? Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s final.

The final episode will air tonight - Wednesday 26 October - on BBC One at 8pm.
Who are the finalists?
First up, there’s Andrew, aged 25 and from Northern Island. Before Bake Off, the ex-Cambridge University student was an aerospace engineer for Rolls Royce, designing jet engines for the car manufacturer.
Next up is Candice, 31, who grew up in her parent’s pub. Having achieved a degree in Sports, PE and Community Studies, the North Londoner became a secondary school PE teacher who now lives with her boyfriend in Bedfordshire.
Finally, there’s Jane, 61, who lives with husband Ray in Beckenham. Jane designs gardens for a living while both her children, Amy and Henry, are currently attending university.

The 30-year-old client service associate, famous for being the most chilled contestant to have ever stepped foot in the Bake Off tent, sadly left last week. Read our recap here.
Who is going to win?
According to William Hill, Candice is the favourite to win, with odds of 1/4. Jane is in second with 5/1, while Andrew comes in third with 11/2.
What’s this week’s theme?
The BBC’s final episode will be a Royal Bake Off, in which the contestants will attempt to impress Mary and Paul with their regal bakes.

Make sure there's a box of tissues to hand, because things will no doubt get emotional.
