Like how Making a Murderer spawned numerous books, TV shows and documentaries, American Crime Story: The People v O.J. Simpson has led to even more material on the NFL star.

ESPN is making a new dock-series on the Juice’s rise to fame, followed by his quick downfall after the infamous court case and his subsequent arrest for robbery in Las Vegas.

O.J.: Made in America Part I will air on ABC on the 11 June, exactly 22 years after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Following its debut on ABC, ESPN will pick up the series.

Marie Donoghue of ESPN called the series an "epic work of documentary" filmmaking, adding: "It's one of the most unique projects ESPN Films has ever done.”

No word yet on a UK release. Meanwhile, The People v OJ continues on BBC Two, causing controversy in the past weeks for airing the real 911 phone call’s made by Nicole.
