Stevi Ritchie has been eliminated from The X Factor after failing to impress the judges with his performance of Erik Santos’ “This Is A Moment.”
The bookies’ favourite to leave the show faced Italian contestant Andrea Faustini in the sing-off after being voted in the bottom two by the public.
Simon Cowell chose to save his act Stevi, with Mel B also choosing to keep her act Andrea in the competition.
“The one at the top is Andrea, I’m sending Stevi home,” said Mel B.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini praised both of the performers but chose to send home Stevi.

The vote came down to Louis Walsh, who told Stevi he didn’t know he could “sing that good” but eventually chose to send the 33-year-old home.
Ben Haenow, Stereo Kicks and Fleur East were first to be called by Dermot O’Leary as the acts that would continue on to next week. Lauren Platt was later confirmed as safe from the judges’ vote.
The result followed the elimination of Only The Young after the band scored the lowest number of public votes during Saturday’s show in a double elimination weekend.
Mentored by Louis Walsh, the group has previously described themselves as a modern day Von Trapp family.
Sunday night’s results show saw performances from a three-man Take That, who performed their new single “These Days”, and British R&B recording artist Labrinth.
