Terms & Conditions
- Entrants must be 18 or over and UK resident.
- Closing date 10 October 2008.
- Winners will be notified in writing within two weeks of the closing date.
- The films must be 2 minutes or shorter and be uploaded via independent.co.uk as a as a gif, jpg, jpeg, png, zip, rar, tgz, mov, avi, mpg, pif, nfo or crc file, maximum size 10 Mb. The films must take inspiration from the listed here .
- 25 films will be selected and feature on independent.co.uk for public vote. From the top five by vote judges will select three winning films.
- First prize: three-day film making course at the Metropolitan Film School, London on the 2-4 May 2009. Second prize: Five-night break to LA in a four-star hotel. Third prize: private screening at Twentieth Century Fox, Soho, London. Five finalists will receive a selection of UA DVDs.

First prize
Three-day intensive film making course at the Metropolitan Film School, London on the 2-4 May 2009. Travel and food / drinks are the responsibility of the winner.
Second prize
Five-night break to LA. Prize includes: two economy class return flights from LA to the winner's nearest major UK airport; five nights accommodation at a four star hotel and transfers to and from the airport to the winner's home in the UK. The holiday must be booked within 6 months of the notification date. The holiday must be taken between the 1 November 2008 - 30 September 2009. Holiday cannot be taken between 15 December 2008 - 3 January 2009 or over any national UK bank holidays. The prize is subject to availability, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. Passports, visas and spending money is the responsibility of the winners.
Third prize
Private film screening at Twentieth Century Fox, Soho. The screening is for up to 50 people and will showcase the winner's 2-minute film clip plus the latest UA film (to be confirmed nearer the time). Winners will be able to select a date from 1 November 2008 - 31 March 2009. Subject to availability.
