DUE TO technical difficulties there was a misleading elision in Tanya Harrod's piece about ceramics in yesterday's paper. The offending sentence should have read: 'Other unclassifiable artists . . . all in different ways understand something about clay at a profound level - its responsiveness to touch (Bryan Illsley), its capacity for austere moulded perfection (Stephanie Bergman) and its tormenting limitations (Jacqui Poncelet).' The Raw and the Cooked is at the Barbican, EC2 to 5 Sept; Moma, Oxford 15 Jan-10 April.
