Why shouldn't a vase be as beautiful as a picture?: Correction
DUE TO technical difficulties there was a misleading elision in Tanya Harrod's piece about ceramics in yesterday's paper. The offending sentence should have read: 'Other unclassifiable artists . . . all in different ways understand something about clay at a profound level - its responsiveness to touch (Bryan Illsley), its capacity for austere moulded perfection (Stephanie Bergman) and its tormenting limitations (Jacqui Poncelet).'
