The European Championships begins in just a few days with the Netherlands amongst the favourites once again. The Dutch are currently ranked as the fourth best team in the world according to the Fifa rankings. Only two European sides are ranked higher – Spain and Germany – which draws a parallel with the predictions for Euro 2012. Spain and Germany are favourites for Euro 2012 but the Dutch FA believe that a semi-final place is the minimum target for Oranje.
