The publishing group Earthscan has a way to brush up on your understanding of climate change before December's COP15 conference. On November 25, the Earthscan website will air "An Economy Fit for a Low Carbon World - The Pre-COP Earthcast" - a free, one-hour webcast that can be viewed for free on a home computer.

Airing at 5:00pm in the UK (12:00pm EST), the webcast will examine the economic challenges of developing a low-carbon future. A panel discussion will be lead by Tim Jackson, author of Properity Without Growth, about worldwide economic return, and will include Robert Costanza, contributor to the Worldwatch Institute's The State of the World 2010, and ecological economist Peter Victor. Afterwards, Jackson will answer viewers' climate-change questions.
