Not technically a spider, Dicranopalpus ramosus is a species of harvestman that was first spotted in Bournemouth in 1957 and can now be seen as far north as Tyneside. Harvestmen differ from spiders in that they only have one section of body as opposed to two.

I have about 10 - 15 very large tube web spiders in my shed which sit at the entrance of the tube at night with thick black shiny legs sticking out. They look very scary and the rest of my family won't venture into the shed. Any ideas how to rid my shed of these?
