Jubilee weather: Cooler, but Queen will be spared any showers
Rain may dampen the weekend for some like it did in Oxford yesterday, warn forecasters, after a period of cooler, wetter and windier weather looks set to bring the heatwave of the past week to an end. But the Queen's Thames river pageant on Sunday is likely to be spared any showers.
Tom Tobler, a forecaster from Meteogroup, said: "It will feel a lot cooler than in recent days but it should be mainly dry across the country with a fair amount of cloud around."
