The latest in the series of films from the Story of Stuff project aims to boost public awareness of the importance of recycling electronic goods.
Environmentalist Annie Lenord created the 'Story of Stuff Project' to increase public discussion about environmental issues and facilitate a growing involvement with efforts to build a more sustainable world. The Story of Stuff project now has an online community of around 150,000 members and works in partnership with other organizations to create and distribute films that raise environmental awareness.
On November 9 the latest in Ms. Lenord's series of films 'The Story of Electronics' was released. The film was made in partnership with the Electronics TakeBack Coalition, an American organization promoting recycling of electronic goods, and tracks the lifespan of electronic goods after they are disposed.
The Story of Electronics is available to watch online along with other films in the series, 'The Story of Stuff', 'The Story of Cosmetics', 'The Story of Bottled Water', and 'The Story of Cap and Trade'.
Other environmental videos are available to watch online at www.gogreentube.com and www.greentv.com.
