"The E5 Bakehouse is an East London artisan bakery and coffee shop," says Patrick. It was set up by a few former wage slaves and their Hackney Wild and 100 per cent rye Bordinsky are famous. There are also jams, tarts, pastries, cakes and coffee and fabulous hot lunches – think chorizo, butter bean and spinach stew, spicy lentil soup and beetroot, walnut and goats' cheese sandwiches. The Saturday bread courses are inspiring new generations of real bread fans.
