Claridge's
Finger sandwiches, fine china, 30 teas to choose from… All the ingredients for a luxury afternoon tea are here, but don't miss the house speciality – freshly baked raisin and apple scones with tea-infused jam and Devonshire clotted cream. 'Try the Earl Grey made with citrus bergamia or the Darjeeling without milk. Their three year-old pu-erh from Yunnan is a lovely introduction to these aged teas, tasting malty but delicate enough for puerh novices,' recommends Tonia.
