As you would expect with afternoon tea in a fancy hotel, this place caters well for those in search of decadence, with a seasonally inspired menu that runs the gamut from free-range egg and cress sandwiches and orangeblossom scones to rose-scented meringues. 'It also does a pink Ladurée tea which is girlie heaven,' says Tonia. 'Soft pink macaroons, scones with jam and pink champagne are accompanied by Ladurée's own very floral blends of Earl Grey and rose tea'.
