Boston Tea Party
Oneof a small chain of tearooms across theWest Country, like the others, this one offers a range of loose-leaf teas (including the house blend, a peppy combination of Assam and Ceylon, with a smattering of Darjeeling), freshly roasted and fairly traded coffees, and a good helping of local produce. The slight lack of originality that comes with being a chain is offset by a reassuring familiarity about what you're going to get. It's also child-friendly, with a special children's menu, high chairs and, weather allowing, a garden for children to run around in.
