From blankets and throws to cushion covers and lampshades, wool is used to striking effect by lots of homeware designers. UK Wool Week (6-12 October) is the time for this natural material to shine and remind us of its versatility across interiors and fashion.
Here, we select woolly pieces for the home. Some - like M&S's lambswool cushion - feature in the Campaign for Wool's 'Wool Collection Interiors' exhibition at Southwark Cathedral, others are simply innovative, stand-out pieces that have caught our eye this autumn.

Verdict:
If you've fallen for wool and aren't on a tight budget, sofa.com's pieces in one of their wool fabrics will make the material the star of the show in your space. The Zeppelin here was designed for the Campaign for Wool's exhibition, but there are lots of other coverings and furniture designs to choose from. Opt for a chair if you can't stretch to a sofa. For just a fun touch of wool, try LifeCovers Harris Tweed coasters. Or if you're after an eye-catching but not-too-big piece, our pick is the bright geometric cushion by Fine Cell Work for Pentreath and Hall.
