Theakstons Old Peculier 27 Crime-Writing Festival

Fans of The Wire should head to Harrogate to see its creator David Simon and the writer George Pelecanos give insight into the TV series. Around 100 crime novelists, including Mark Billingham (above), Lee Child and John Banville, will attend Europe's largest crime writing festival.
