Edvard Munch exhibition
February 19-July 18
Pinacothèque de Paris
Paris, France

The Paris exhibit entitled "Edvard Munch or the anti-scream" at the Pinacothèque aims at giving a different perception of the Norwegian master, mostly known for his internationally acclaimed painting The Scream (1893). According to the Pinacothèque, this work is not "representative of his oeuvre", that's why the survey will showcase around 100 Munch works, an event in the French capital since the painter hasn't been seen there in 20 years.

Works by the likes of Franz Gertsch, Anselm Kiefer, Jeff Koons, Ron Mueck, Paul Pfeiffer, Charles Ray, Cindy Sherman, Ken Solomo, Willard Wigan and Ivan Witenstein will highlight the relationship between size, scale and perspective throughout a variety of different mediums.
