Firefighters tackle blaze at Jamie Oliver’s Barbecoa restaurant
Around 150 people were evacuated from a shopping centre after a fire at Jamie Oliver’s Barbecoa restaurant.
Four fire engines and more than 20 firefighters tackled the blaze near St Paul’s Cathedral at Tuesday lunchtime. The restaurant bills itself as “a celebration of fire-based cooking”.
London Fire Brigade said part of the restaurant’s extraction system had caught alight.
