For this eighth edition of the Bamako Encounters, the theme of "Borders" will be tackled with many exhibitions featuring a pan-African one bringing together more than 40 photographers and 13 videos. Monographs of emerging international artists of African origin are also on the program this year with Baudouin Mouanda from Brazzaville (Congo), Fazal Sheikh, born in New York, Angèle Etoundi Essamba from Cameroon, among many others.

After Berlin, New York celebrates the 90th anniversary of the foundation of Bauhaus -- the well-known interdisciplinary school for architecture, design and art that exerted great international influence -- with the largest exhibition ever on this theme and over 400 works that reflect the broad range of the school's productions.
The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, which is active in 65 countries, will showcase medicines and technologies that are at the cutting edge of this field in a trade-only conference.
