This leading building event in China, the fourth edition of the China International Architectural Expo, is expected to attract more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 30 countries and 80,000 domestic and international visitors.
London Film Festival
The 53rd edition of the Times BFI London Film Festival includes an expanded awards ceremony and an unprecedented 146 UK premieres (including 15 world premieres) such Nowhere Boy (a biopic of English rock singer John Lennon), the British gangster drama 44 Inch Chest, and American director Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Soulages retrospective in Paris

This important retrospective of French contemporary artist Pierre Soulages, who will soon turn 90, gathers works from 1946 to nowadays. The exhibition will cover 3.000 m2 of the Centre Pompidou with a hundred major works by one of the greatest masters of abstract art in France.
Running concurrently with London's Frieze Art Fair for Contemporary Art (starting October 15), a pavilion dedicated to the best in modern and decorative arts as well as design will be set up in the city's Berkely Square, showcasing the works of 45 artists and designers.
