<I>Pick a stock and win &#163;100</I>

This month's share competition was won by a reader identifying himself simply as "Garry". He claimed to be a professional fund manager, offering to donate his winnings to charity should he win. In the event, Garry's choice of Ashtead Group was the biggest riser among our readers' selections – gaining 7.8 per cent during the month. His £100 winnings, provided by our sponsor, Abbey, will, as requested, be donated to charity. Congratulations and thank you, Garry. In second place was Andy McTavish. Andy named Nighthawk Energy, whose share price rose by 7.39 per cent.

If you'd like to win £100 in June, send us the name of the share that you believe will have the biggest rise between the market's opening on Tuesday 3 June, and its close on Wednesday 25 June. The stock must have its primary listing on either the Alternative Investment Market or the London Stock Exchange. It must have a market value of at least £75m and a share price of at least 20p.

Entries must be emailed to cash@independent.co.uk before midnight on Monday 2 June, or be received by post no later than the morning of Tuesday 3 June.
