Lynne Wardle: Sarah's current level of weekday activity is fairly low. She walks or jogs for approximately 15 minutes per day to and from the Tube and tries to use the stairs whenever possible. In recent months she has been more active at weekends, decorating and refurbishing her new house.
Her stability and flexibility are good but she needs to work to improve her strength, body tone and aerobic fitness. She has slight back pain, which is probably the result of her sedentary job, and she often feels tired. She also has quite weak knees that sometimes irritate her when running.
Sarah would like to lose body fat and improve her general level of fitness, making it a part of her everyday lifestyle. By adopting a regular exercise programme, focusing on both aerobic and strength training, Sarah should eventually attain her goals.Reuse content
