Sweden: Military cameras, designed to spot enemy submarines, which can take close-ups from several kilometres away, have been used to spy on young women swimming in the nude, according to a report in a Swedish newspaper. Photographs have been distributed among military conscripts.

London: An American woman who was ordered out of Harrods for violating its dress code is considering legal action. She believes they ordered her out because she was too fat. A lawyer for Eilene Kadden said: "Throwing her out was clearly sizeist, as her mother was not asked to leave even though she was wearing the same kind of thing."

London: It was revealed yesterday that nine out of ten winners of the "Rear of the Year" award for the nicest female bottom, subsequently left their husbands.
