Artists timely exhibitions
Artist Helene Delprat, seen with a work entitled Les Heures, has unveiled her first British solo show at the French Institute, writes Natalie Martin. Although a newcomer to British shores she is no stranger to exhibitions with a strong track record across Europe and as far away as South America and Africa.
The latest work takes inspiration from French mythology and the obscure books of the hours from the Middle Ages to examine the meaning of art.
Admission to the Institute on Queensbury Place SW7 is free. It is open 9am-7pm Monday to Friday and noon-4pm on Saturday.
