CAR OF THE WEEK

THE OVER-SUPPLIED, depreciating executive sector of the car market is feeling the pinch. And the mass-market cars - such as bigger Renaults, Peugeots and Vauxhalls - are suffering. Yet the Vauxhall Omega is built in Germany to very high standards, with every luxury fitted to Elite specification models, and smooth V6 petrol engines. DKCars (01635 865610) has a P-reg example, which sold for pounds 31,000 new, with 23,000 miles on the clock for just pounds 12,995.
