WOULD YOU like your baby to be greener? Not in a queasy sense, of course, but in an ecologically sound one. Yesterday Green Baby opened in Islington, north London, the first retailer to offer one-stop shopping for environmentally sound washable nappies, organic baby toiletries, jogging strollers and the like. Eco-friendly doesn't have to mean homespun: there will also be smart designer clothes on sale. A predicted favourite line is the Boo Boo bear: a handcrafted aromatherapy teddy stuffed with wheat and natural herbs - chamomile, lavender and peppermint. Mail order is also available.
