competitions: Readers' lives; This month: Celebrations
This week's winner
This photograph was taken by Yiorgos Nikiteas of Brighton, East Sussex. "As I was travelling in Eastern Europe in the early Nineties, I found myself in Prague for the Passover celebrations. This young Jewish couple were marking their engagement. For me, the photograph represents a celebration of life, of looking ahead to the future, a new world, the new millennium. I hope I haven't got carried away."
