Joy to the World Royal Albert Hall, tonight

For the tenth anniversary of the "Joy To The World" charity performance, a cast of over 80 celebrities will convene amidst the splendour of the Royal Albert Hall - which will be decorated this year in the style of a magnificent Gothic Cathedral with stained glass windows. It is a wonder that there will be room to fit the carols, readings, and extravagant productions combined with fanfare trumpeters, solo voices and choirs. This will be the last time the event is held at the Albert Hall. Although tickets are sold out, donations can still be made. The event will be televised on BBC1 on Christmas Eve at 12 noon.

For donations please call: 0171- 582 3861. The charities are The Children's Trust, Tadworth, Fight For Life, The Children's Cancer Unit at Middlesex Hospital and Osteopathic Centre for Children.
