Courteney Cox reveals she's undone all her cosmetic work and feels better than ever

“I’ve had to learn to embrace movement and realise that fillers are not my friend”

There are many things people do to their appearance when young which they later regret, be that something harmless like dying your hair green or something slightly harder to reverse like getting your boyfriend’s initials tattooed in an intimate area.

And cosmetic surgery is certainly something that shouldn’t be entered into lightly, as Courteney Cox has pointed out.

The actress has revealed that she’s had all her cosmetic work undone.

“I’ve had all my fillers dissolved. I’m as natural as I can be,” Cox told New Beauty.

“I feel better because I look like myself. I think that I now look more like the person I was.”

It’s not the first time she’s spoken out about regretting the work she’s had done either.

The 53-year-old, most famous for her role as Monica Geller in Friends, says she’s now accepted that her body will age and her looks will change.

“Everything’s going to drop. Those aren’t wrinkles – they’re smile lines,” she said.

“I’ve had to learn to embrace movement and realise that fillers are not my friend.”

Cox reveals that she’s never felt better, but thinks ageing in Hollywood isn’t easy:

“I grew up thinking appearance was the most important thing. That as long as I looked OK, I would be OK, which got me into trouble.”

She said that when she went to the doctor, they would encourage her to have fillers or injections.

Trying to keep up made things worse and she’s now as natural as possible.
