East is East
The welcome return of Ayub Khan-Din's fresh, fast, smash-hit comedy in which family tensions erupt at home and in the chip shop. Crackling dialogue delivered by a rambunctious cast led by the indomitable Linda Bassett. A real treat.

The Comedy of Errors
"Twins in Nightmare Baby Swap Shock!" Unlike those Shakespeare comedy productions full of crass crotch-grabbing to underline the jokes, or those stultifyingly unfunny "intelligent rethinks", Tim Supple's outstanding RSC small-scale production is chock full of insight and brazenly hilarious with it.

Lux Park Leisure Centre, Liskeard (01579 344415) from Tue
Guys and Dolls
One of the greatest musicals ever written in Richard Eyre's first-class production, with cracking performances and a glorious neon-filled set. The result? Unconfined joyousness. Go, if only to experience the waves of pleasure flooding from stage to auditorium and back again.
