Three bids to design, build and operate an exhibition centre on an 85-acre site at the Royal Victoria Dock have been submitted to the London Docklands Development Corporation. The LDDC claims the development could create 12,000 jobs. The shortlisted consortia are London International Exhibition Centre Ltd, Earls Court and Olympia Ltd and Collective Development Consortium International. A winner will be chosen by January.
