Seen... the turrets and intricate decoration of Indian architecture, as shown in Divine Facades: Views of Indian Architecture, a photographic exhibition that looks at the influence of British imperial rule on Indian architecture. Through comparisons between new and old interpretations of the same or similar scenes, it reveals India's reinvention over the 50 years since Independence. It exhibits the work of contemporary photographers alongside Victorian pictures. At Portfolio Gallery, 43 Candlemaker Row, Edinburgh EH1 (0131-226 4287). Admission free. Until Feb 14.

Visited... Paul Winstanley's exhibition, Annexe. This is a rare opportunity to see Winstanley's work in London. The show comprises six paintings of places and interiors which are real, but which lack human presence. Tate Gallery, Millbank, London SW19 (0171-887 8000). Admission free. Until Feb 15.
