In October, the UK saw its first 4G mobile and fibre broadband service launch with EE. The network is the new home for T-Mobile and Orange – and like the latter, EE has a few things that seem to make it the network of choice for movie fans.

Wednesday still means two for one cinema tickets!

Orange Wednesdays, which allows the network’s customers to get two for one cinema tickets every Wednesday, has been an incredibly popular offer – so EE has been keen to make sure its users could also take advantage of it. This means that whether you’re at home, on-the-go or looking for the very latest blockbusters in the cinema, EE has you covered.

More streaming movies on your mobile

There are  a wide range of PAYM 4G phones available on EE, all of which boast high resolution screens and come equipped with the latest technology to make the most of your video content. With EE, you’ll be able to enjoy all of this while on the go, safe in the knowledge that your 4G signal won’t suffer from the buffering you would experience with 3G. And with EE Film Store, there are even more movies to choose from.

A seamless film experience indoors and out

You may be watching a movie on your way home and need to stop the action before you get to your front door. However, with EE fibre broadband you can fire up your computer, laptop or device when you get indoors and pick up exactly where you left off using your fixed-line connection. This means less fast forwarding and rewinding, with a seamless way to watch what you want, when you want.

Celebrating new talent and supporting UK film

EE recently announced it would take over from its sister company Orange as the sponsor of the British Academy Film Awards in 2013. The event takes place at London's Royal Opera House on Sunday 10 February 2013 and includes the EE Rising Star Award. This accolade celebrates new talent that is making its mark on the industry. Previous winners have included Adam Deacon, Kristen Stewart and Tom Hardy.

EE began the roll out of 4G mobile services that run at up to five times faster than 3G and fibre broadband up to ten times quicker than the current average in October. This started in 11 key cities across the nation and will continue to spread in the New Year. If you’re a movie buff, you might find that now is the time to consider joining the party!
