Steve (above). Courier for five years and part of a team that works for Metro Photographic. Wearing a Gore-Tex jacket and Lycra leggings with cycle shorts over the top. "Metro supplies us with unlimited kit and we have to make sure we are wearing something that has the Metro logo on it all the time."
The more modern cleated cycle shoe (above) that Steve (top, opposite page) hates so much.
Josephine (left). Courier for two years. Wearing red Gore-Tex jacket, black Trek padded shorts with leggings underneath, Condor glasses, Shimano shoes and Metro T-shirt. "Cycling can be pretty hazardous. I've fractured my hip before but I'm OK now."
Anita (right). Originally from Toronto. Courier for six years. Wearing Metro top, Pinarello hat, Bellwether leggings and Sidi shoes. "It's better when your company supplies clothes because otherwise it's quite expensive. I'm shipping my bike over from Canada as my other one was stolen in Covent Garden."
