Beauty events during Fashion's Night Out in New York

Here is a selection of the must-see beauty events during Fashion's Night Out on September 8.

Bare Escentuals stores

Call your closest boutique to make a reservation for a free makeover. Plus: be the first to score the six-piece Drop Red Gorgeous before it launches in October and take home a free limited-edition tote bag with any $50 Bare Escentuals purchase.

15 East 57th Street

Be the first to get your hands on the newest Chanel nail color collection, Les Jeans de Chanel, created exclusively for Fashion's Night Out by Peter Philips, creative director of Chanel makeup. Stop by for a complimentary mini manicure featuring these hues.

971 Madison Avenue New York NY 10021

The Diptyque boutique invites you to its champagne and macaron party. You will be asked to find a special Diptyque item and take a photo of it for a chance to receive perfumes or candles as prizes.

Bleecker Street & West 11th Street

Teen Vogue will take over the boutique and invite girls to come out for a Fashion's Night Out block party that will include free manicures from Essie. The brand's manicurist Elle Gerstein will also be on hand to talk all things nails with the girls and dish on her celebrity clients' favorite nail looks.

Frederic Fekkai

712 Fifth Avenue Fourth Floor

The haircare brand will help you get ready for a big night out on the town: its beauty packages include a blowout, makeup application and polish change for $75, or a Swarvoski bejeweled manicure starting at $54.

109 Third Avenue

The beauty brand is staging a "Karaoke Karnival" with complimentary food and beverages and celebrity performances.

La Mer Counter at Bloomingdale's and Saks Fifth Avenue

La Mer will launch a new iPad app on the occasion, with experts allowing visitors to experience the app that features a wish list, video footage, and the option to browse products in English, Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese. Stop by to complete a skin diagnostic tool to learn more about the moisturizer best suited for your skin’s needs.

Lancôme at Macy's Herald Square, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Sephora

Spokesmodel Arlenis Sosa will be directing customer makeovers given by Macy's makeup artists.

Make Up For Ever Boutique at Sephora

555 Broadway

Make Up For Ever will give you the chance to create your own custom lashes at their “Lash Lounge." Choose your favorite lash style, which can be customized by adding different elements like bows, feathers, beads, colors, and glitter. For those in need of a little inspiration, Make Up For Ever is also creating an official Fashion’s Night Out-inspired lash that will be available for purchase. After perfecting your lashes, artists will be available for lessons on how to apply faux lashes like a pro, so you can either wear them out or take them with you to apply at home.

Maybelline New York

Gansevoort Plaza – Little West 12th Street at 9th Avenue

Makeup artists will provide free makeovers (post makeover, guests can have their pictures taken and upload them directly to social networking sites), and in honor of Great Lash Mascara’s 40th birthday, guests will receive a free tube of the product while supplies last. Plus: the first 300 guests to arrive will receive a limited edition Great Lash T-shirt designed by Patricia Field.

MAC Cosmetics

109 Spring Street

Kick off the night at MAC’s Soho store starting with the soaring vocals of Beth Ditto, while you enjoy backstage makeup touchups from a MAC artist.

The brand will be launching a bespoke Fashion Night Out nail polish in 15 Sephora stores in Manhattan.
